Are you looking for a platform to submit a killer press release for your upcoming novel? Then you’ve come to the right place. We like to keep things interesting around here, and the same goes for our press releases.

Releases that already meet this standard will be published for free. Those that require our special touch will be published for a small fee. Here is a sample of a press release we wrote, edited, and distributed on behalf of a client.

How to Submit Press Releases

1. Send an email to shadowtheprcat@gmail.com
2. Your subject line should say: PITCH PRESS SHADOW: [insert working title here].
3. Tell us a little about yourself and include a bio of 25 words or less to be included with your press release. Bios should be written in third person.
4. Include a high quality picture of yourself and/or your novel.
5. Include a copy of your proposed press release.
6. If your release is accepted as is, it will be published for free.
7. If the press release must be edited to meet our standards, then you must submit a $15 fee via PayPal to alexischateaullc@gmail.com.
8. When the release is ready, you will be notified of the publishing date.

How to Request Press Releases

4. Include a high quality picture of yourself and/or your novel.
5. Mention any details and preferences you would like us to include in your release.
6. Submit a $25 fee via PayPal to alexischateaullc@gmail.com.
7. Once the press release has been written, you will be notified of the publishing date.

General Criteria for Press Release

1. We do not publish pieces that violate our code of ethics.
2. Press releases must be 300 – 800 words.
3. Releases must make use of paragraphs and headers.
4. A high quality picture of the author and/or the book(s) must be included.
5. At least one direct quote from the author must be included.

What to Expect

1. Not all submissions will be accepted, but you can expect a response in 7 days or less.
2. If we reject your pitch, this does not prevent you from pitching us something else in the future.

Incomplete submissions, and submissions which do not meet these guidelines, will be rejected.
